GUNDITJMARA CULTURAL HERITAGE NETWORK

GMTOAC has established the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network to enable Gunditjmara Traditional Owners and Native Title Holders to be involved with Cultural Heritage Management Planning across country, waters, places and stories within GMTOAC Registered Aboriginal Party boundaries.

The GMTOAC RAP boundaries include parts of Gunditjmara, Boandik and Jardwadjali traditional countries.
 
Registered users of the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network will receive information updates via email on cultural heritage activities with the GMTOAC RAP boundaries and invited to provide advice, knowledge and comment to GMTOAC for consideration on heritage tests, cultural heritage management plans, cultural heritage permits, protection declarations, etc.

Application for the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network

  • I understand that I am registering with the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network to receive information by email on cultural heritage activities being conducted under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic) by GMTOAC as a Registered Aboriginal Party.

  • I understand that any advice, knowledge and comment that i provide in response to information that I receive through the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network will be considered and valued by GMTOAC.

  • I understand that any advice, knowledge or comment that I comment that I provide my be referenced and included in GMTOAC evaluation of cultural heritage management plans, cultural heritage permits, cultural heritage protection declarations and cultural heritage land agreements.

  • I Understand that GMTOAC acknowledges the intellectual property that I may hold on behalf of the traditional knowledge and/or stories which I contribute to GMTOAC through the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network in response to cultural heritage activities being conducted under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic) by GMTOAC as a Registered Aboriginal Party

  • I understand that any advice, knowledge or comment that I provide through the Gunditjmara Cultural Heritage Network may be published as part of endorsed or not endorsed cultural heritage management plans, cultural heritage permit, cultural heritage protection declaration or cultural heritage land agreement.
